Small not for profit organisation that provides youth, family and school support to the community. Organisation; A small not for profit organisation that has been supporting young people and their families in the community, through counselling, workshops and facilitation. Role; This role offers a broad range of duties. You will be working in the community, the office and in schools. You will be liaising with a array of external stakeholders with a common goal, providing the best service to the clients you meet on a day to day basis.
Your main focus will be on the young people you meet each day and providing goals for them to work towards. You will utilise your psychological knowledge and skills to offer a person centered plan for each person. The main duties include: Workshop design, facilitation, running parent groups, advocacy and advice.
Case management Counselling Supporting colleagues Reporting to relevant bodies Criteria; Degree in Psychology APHRA Registration Demonstrated therapeutic experience working with young people Demonstrated experience provide psychological assessment and advocacy Experience working with Government and non-Government groups First Aid Cert (desirable) Drivers License Additional Information; This role is available immediately and will be snapped up quickly.
