Profusion Group have multiple amazing opportunities for Provisional Psychologist and Behaviour Specialist Professionals who are either experienced or keen to kick start their career and we are working with an industry leader in the Rehab Provider Space.
The opportunities will allow you to increase your mental health injury management skills whilst consulting to NDIS patients. This leading Rehab Provider thrive off a collaborative and fun working setting as you continue to assist clients overcome their injuries. Role Overview: - Roles sit across offices in Newcastle and Gosford.
Open to experienced Professionals and/or Graduates in this field. Responsibilities include: Consult and providing positive behavioural support services to people with a disability and their service providers/families, in line with an individual’s NDIS plan and goals. Develop effective positive behaviour support plans that incorporate useful and cutting edge strategies and interventions.
Provide services across different environments including homes, schools, community programs, workplaces, telehealth and/or the client's offices Liaise and network with other allied health professionals and support workers to achieve positive client outcomes through a holistic and supportive approach Conduct psychological counselling, assessments or intervention Skills and Experience: Allied Health degree - ideally within Psychology, Mental Health or Behavioral support Registration with a relevant professional body (AHPRA) or able to obtain NDIS Registered Behaviour Practitioner or able to obtain Understanding of restrictive practices and writing interim and comprehensive reports under current NDIS guidelines Desirable experience: Experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum disorder and Intellectual Disability and other complex diagnoses Counselling experience using CBT, DBT, person-centred and trauma-informed approaches Experience using a wide variety of Psychological/Behaviour assessments What's on offer: Career growth and opportunities Fun Incentives such as Massages and fruit at work Extensive induction program, ongoing internal and external training Funding towards professional development Monthly and annual events and competitions to have fun at work Avenues to share good news stories, best practice ideas Variety in work, with services across different industries (e.g. NDIS, Aged Care, Insurance, Rehabilitation and Health) Opportunities to engage in research Flexible working conditions The Rehabilitation Provider industry has a lot to offer with multiple opportunities.
