The Role: This is a genuinely rare opportunity for a team player to fast-track their career and make their mark with a leading role in the company’s FP&A, M&A, strategic initiatives and commercial projects. Based in the Doncaster area, working in a collegiate, entrepreneurial, and high-performance culture, you will report to the Corporate Development Manager and CFO.
Candidates will ideally come from a Big 4 or top tier professional services, corporate finance or investment banking background and may be looking to step into a position in-house. To be successful, the following will be an advantage: Excellent financial modelling skills - designing, building, reviewing and augmenting 3-way integrated forecast, operating and transaction models Extensive financial planning and analysis skills and experience Solid technical corporate finance skill set and experience: market research, acquisition target research, accounting, valuation, financial due diligence, capital raising, deal structuring and presentation drafting Understanding of the commercial aspects of relevant legal contracts CA, CFA or MBA qualifications or equivalents Highly diligent with unparalleled attention to detail An excellent communicator you will liaise with multiple stakeholders both internal and external Investment appraisal and analysis skills Expert level Excel skills. Your role will include analysing and evaluating the financial and operating performance of the Group and its various subsidiaries.
You will be highly involved in the annual budgeting process and ongoing rolling forecasting process. You will take responsibility for the monthly Board pack preparation and collation. Leveraging your corporate finance experience and skill-set, you will scope out and analyse potential acquisition and investment opportunities along with executing transactions as part of the deal team.
You will be called upon for assistance with strategic initiatives including transaction support, valuations, acquisition activity and various financial modelling and analysis tasks.
