The Role: We are seeking an outgoing, ambitious Engineer with excellent communication, a keen eye for detail, and high proficiency in report writing and documentation to perform site inspections and identify building defects such as water proofing issues, cracks and other structural defects. You will compile reports and submit them to body corporate. Essential skills that you will require for this role are: A University Degree in Civil Engineering specialising in Structures; Strong engineering/building diagnostic understanding Minimum 3 years experience in a consulting engineering office, Insurance or Strata including a range of project types and sizes; Good technical knowledge of Australian Standards; Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate well with senior management, consultants and clients; A strong work ethic and positive attitude; a problem solver The ability to think on your feet and make decisions quickly Motivated, ambitious, outgoing A keen eye for detail and motivation towards furthering your technical skills, and Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time to ensure delivery of multiple projects simultaneously You must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident The role would suit someone who can come in and hit the ground running working within a motivated and busy team.
