Registered Nurse - Recovery
Permanent part time (56 hours per fortnight) Assess, plan, coordinate and evaluate patient care delivery needs Work for a well-respected global health care industry The Opportunity Joondalup Health Campus is comprised of a 12-theatre modern operating suite, where you will work across our Recovery departments with a dedicated and professional clinical team made up of doctors, nurses and allied health professionals. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for monitoring the condition of patients during procedures and reporting changes to the relevant manage. Ensuring a high level of quality patient care is delivered at all times in line with the core values and strategic direction of both the hospital and Ramsay Health Care, your role will also involve, but is not limited to; Assessing, planning, coordinating and evaluating care delivery needs of patients; Checking, preparing and administering all medications in accordance with state legislation and organisational policies and procedures; and Treating all customers with respect and equality whilst meeting all aspects of their care in a timely and professional manner.
This role will require the flexibility to work across morning and afternoon shifts over a seven-day roster. About You To succeed in this role, you will bring a strong clinical skillset in a hospital setting with clinical and professional experience working in Recovery. Your passion for providing quality care, ability to work within a fast-paced and multi-disciplinary team-focused environment, and your client-first attitude are also essential for this role.
To be considered for this opportunity, you will also have the following: Registered with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse Minimum of two years’ experience as a Registered Nurse with experience working in Recovery Knowledge of current legislation and policies relating to nursing practice in the workplace Demonstrates effective interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) Demonstrates relevant clinical skills and knowledge in area of specialty Candidates with any post graduate qualifications in these areas of speciality will be highly regarded.
