Technical Business Analyst
Our client, a government department, is seeking a Technical Business Analyst to elicit business requirements and undertake business process mapping for a significant system decommissioning project. The ideal candidate will have a technical background, able to liaise across non-IT and IT teams, and a strong understanding of data and SQL scripting. This is a full-time contract position based in Brisbane CBD, paying up to $93/hour including super.
Key Responsibilities: Engage with stakeholders to identify business requirements Undertake process mapping and data flows (using standard BPMN practices) of the legacy applications Prepare technical documentation to support system scope, schema design, functional requirements, and associated products required Provide informed evaluation and impact analysis on all major design options and associated risks Provide assistance with drafting / reviewing SQL scripts and other technical fixes throughout the extract / transform / load process where necessary Key Selection Criteria Demonstrated experience as a Technical Business Analyst within a complex ICT and/or government environment High-level knowledge and experience in eliciting business requirements High-level knowledge of current State and future State process mapping Provide assistance with creating and/or updating schema diagrams where necessary Knowledge of system / user acceptance testing and ability to ensure solutions are efficient and fit-for-purpose Excellent stakeholder engagement with a strong customer focus; ability to facilitate smooth resolution of complex issues To submit your application, in strict confidence, please apply online using the appropriate link below quoting Ref No. 4A/19991.
