The client has several mine sites across the Bowen Basin consisting primarily of open cut mines. The client provides opportunities for interaction to improve their safety performance and believe having the right controls in place to effectively manage their risks that have safety impacts will lead to improved safety outcomes About the Role Ongoing opportunities exist for skilled and experienced Production Supervisor who will contribute to the successful operations of a mine site located within the Bowen Basin. Duties and Responsibilities Execute quality Field Leadership activities targeted at engaging with the workforce Understanding and execution of the mine plan Crew management in accordance with Charter Values and Code of Conduct.

Lead, coach and mentor employees to deliver on plan and build a high performing team Effectively communicate all pertinent information to stakeholders Training and development of crew members to ensure continuity of operations Reconciliation of each shift???s data and remediation if necessary Conduct thorough incident investigations targeted at identifying the root cause and developing actions to limit the likelihood of a repeat event Identification and communication of enabling activities to ensure continuity of operations Cultivate positive relationships through effective communication and consultation Skills/Experience Well-developed written and verbal skills and the interpersonal skills to facilitate cooperation with production personnel Strong communication, negotiation, influencing and relationship management skills An ability to plan, organise and coordinate a variety of tasks within a dynamic environment The ability to effectively use a computer and its associated software programs (Microsoft Office suite) The ability and willingness to work in a team environment Leadership / supervisory experience within the mining sector coupled with strong people management skills Experience working in truck and shovel/mining activities preferably within an open cut operation Apply Now Click on the Apply button or for more information please contact: Ged Mullan -Recruitment Coordinator Mackay Office - 07 4969 47 31.
