HR Culture and Engagement Specialist
Ashdown People are seeking an experienced HR Culture and Engagement Specialist to work for a NSW Government client based in Sydney CBD. This position is an initia; 6 month contract with the potential of being extended. Purpose of Position: The HR Culture and Engagement Specialist is responsible for providing Subject Matter expertise and support for the design, build and enhancement and implementation of the organisations values framework and related strategies to support transition and the organisations reform agenda.
Key Responsibilities: Under broad direction of the Project Manager, provide specialist expertise and input to the design, build and roll out of Values related strategies and milestones in the Organisational Health Program (OHP) to meet intended objectives. Forge relationships and work closely with key stakeholders including Manager, Performance, Culture and Engagement, the OHP team, People and Safety and business delegates to further enhance, refine and develop the Values Framework and related strategies, identifying and implementing strategies for continual improvement. Contribute to and support future planning phases and implementation of strategies, including embedding of values in position descriptions and the recruitment process, to meet the priorities and due dates committed in the Organisational Health Business Case and Values Project Plan.
Provide appropriate support, including sourcing and developing a range of innovative and best practice tools and products, to facilitate the implementation and effective outcomes of values related strategies. Contribute to the development of values project milestones, provide timely progress reports, proactively identifying issues and implementing agreed solutions to ensure risk to progress and/or outcomes is effectively managed. Collaborate with OHP leads across projects, including Performance Development, Reward and Recognition, Capability and Innovation, to provide expertise and support on integration of values related strategies to effectively enhance the OHP outcomes.
Work closely with the OHP Change Team to develop and support strategies translating initiatives to long term, sustained and measurable organisational values-based culture outcomes.
