Tim Phin

Tim Phin loves to party. He is best known for spinning tunes at every top dance party. He also plays at A-list events, fashion shows, festivals with 15,000+ people, private and VIP functions and many clubs around Auckland and the world.

Tim is the founder, owner and creative director of REMIX Magazine, a successful fashion, music and lifestyle publication that has just reached its 18th Anniversary. Through REMIX, Tim travels the world interviewing A-list celebrities, writing travel pieces and rubbing shoulders with fashion and culture royalty at some of the biggest international events.

Tim is a tastemaker, opinion leader, and well-known personality in the New Zealand music
industry. He is an avid traveller, writer and life of any party, and is always in the know with the latest artists and music trends.

He also promotes New Zealand’s largest dance party brands including OUR:HOUSE Festival, Nitelife and Deep Hard & Funky. Over the years Tim has hosted a number of widely respected international DJs including Major Lazer, David Guetta, Calvin Harris, Deadmau5, Skrillex, Avicii, DJ Snake, Steve Aoki, Afrojack, Crookers, Kaskade, Mark Farina, Nick Warren, Mason, Ian Pooley, Sandy Riviera and DJed alongside aside a plethora of dance acts to visit NZ.

To top off his local domination, Tim hosts the high rating, and 15 years running George FM radio show, OUR:HOUSE RADIO, in the prime slot of Friday 6-8pm, playing the biggest and best new tunes to get the weekend started in style.

Tim has been involved in a number of production projects, including remixing the track ‘Supernatural’ (2007) for rising indie stars Midnight Youth, which was released through Central Station records. He’s produced commercially successful tracks under the name Solidarity (2003), and was signed to OM Records and licensed to Hed Kandi for global release. He has also mixed seven compilation CD’s under his REMIX and OUR:HOUSE brands.

Tim has put his touch on every aspect of the New Zealand dance scene and is the most recognisable and bankable DJ in his home country.
